الملخص: ارتبط الحجاج في جذوره الأولى بالبلاغة اليونانية، وبالتحديد ببلاغة الإقناع عند أرسطو التّي ارتبطت من قبل بالسفسطة أو ما يعرف اليوم بالحجاج المغالط، وقد يبدو للبعض أنّ الحديث عـن المُغـالطة، أو السفسطة غير مُجد الـيوم، في حين أنّ الحقيقة عكس ذلك، باعتبارها فنا من فنون صناعة الجهل والتمويه والخداع التّي يلجأ إليها المخاطِب السياسي بصفة خاصة قصد السّيطرة على الآخر فكريا وعقائديا...الخ، ولاستكشاف ذلك سوف نعتمد على تحليل خطاب سياسي معاصر للرئيس الأميركي "دونالد ترامب" أثناء فترة ترشحه كمنافس للمرشحة "هيلاري كلينتون".
