This work is a comparative study between sandwich materials with different constituents (mineral and natural). These sandwich materials are developed at the maintenance workshop of the airline AIR Algeria, and consist of two parts: a part made of composite material based on an epoxy resin (EPOCAST 50 A-1) reinforced by two types of fibres, namely: glass fibres and carbon fibres, this part wraps a plate either in cork or in honeycombs. The characterization tests are carried out at the mechanical laboratory level of the UR-MPE research unit (University of Boumerdes), according to the results found it can be seen that the resin used in aeronautics influences the rupture mode of laminates In terms of 3 and 4 point bending, the tested sandwich structures exhibit elastic linear behaviour since the start of loading, but there are plastic deformations for higher loading.Regarding the shear modulus, honeycomb core sandwiches have the same module, either by direct method or indirect method of the standard, for cork core sandwiches the shear modulus is proportional to the thickness of soulen_US
