Abstract: The aim of our study is to see whether physical performance determined by Eurofit tests are sensitive to training load variations during different periods of training namely the preparatory period and the competitive period. 63 subjects aged 12-24 years old [12-13 years old ; 14-15 years old ; 16-17 years old ; 18-24 years old] practicing regularly karate (specialized in Kumite), at a rate of 3-5 sessions per week, have participated to this study. All were subjected to a battery of 15 tests Eurofit; each subject underwent an evaluation of its performance during various training periods. The results of our study show that training in karate related to the specificity of different training periods of karate has led to various changes in performance inherent in the various physical qualities, in different categories.
