Abstract: The aim of this research is to evaluate the vertical jump and its correlation with some anthropometric parameters. Hundred twenty-three young basketball players (57 girls and 66 boys) of four regional selections participated in the study (mean age 16 years). They have realized four vertical jump tests : Squat jump (SJ), Countermovement Jump (CMJ), Countermovement Jump with arm swing (CMJB) and reactivity test the tests were realized on the Ergojump. The anthropometric measures enabled us to determine the following parameters: the body weight, size, the length of the lower and upper member and the perimeter of the thigh and leg. There are negatively significant correlations between vertical jump and length of the upper limb, body weight and girth of the thigh and leg. Similarly, the vertical jump is significantly correlated with the size.
